Guided Canoe & Kayak Day Trips

St. Regis Canoe Outfitters

Available By Request--May through October

Our popular guided day trips are the perfect way to see the Adirondacks from a new perspective. These trips are private and customizable, ensuring that you get the most out of your experience. While our guided day trips vary in length, the average trip is about 4-5 hours including a stop for lunch. If you have mobility issues, or are unable to paddle for any reason, we do still have options for you!

Cost & Details:

Pricing starts at $159 per person, and is dependent on route and number of participants.

Trip pricing includes: experienced guide, transport and logistics, a great lunch, and your choice of canoe or kayak (you may bring your own boat). The pricing does not include a tip for your guide. While tipping is not required, if you feel your guide provided you with a good experience, we encourage giving them a tip! 15-20% is customary for day trips.

We require a minimum of two people to run trips. The cost per person goes down for groups of 4 or more.

Our guided trips are by reservation only, and require a minimum 48 hours notice. To reserve a guided day trip, we require payment in full in advance. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If circumstances beyond our control cause us to cancel any reservation (extremely rare!), we will promptly refund your deposit in full. In the case of unsafe weather conditions (high winds, thunderstorms, extreme heat or cold, etc.) we will discuss refunding or rescheduling. We do not cancel trips due to rain or cool temps.

Customizing your Trip:

The trips listed below are merely suggestions based on popular paddling routes. If you would like us to provide a guided trip to a location that is not listed, we can absolutely do that. Pricing will be based on a similar trip from the list below.

If you have boats and would like to provide your own lunch, you can opt to pay the private guide rate ($375) and transport cost rather than the per person rate. This can be a good option for larger groups on a budget.
