Suwannee River Paddling Trip

St. Regis Canoe Outfitters

This guided paddling trip will include 7 days of paddling on the Suwanee River in Florida (lodging, equipment and food included).  On the first and last night we will stay in state park cabins.  While on the river we will camp out in  shelters with access to electricity and running water.  The Suwannee River starts in Georgia flowing out of the Okefenokee Swamp and running over 200 miles in Florida until it reaches the Gulf of Mexico. The river meanders through lime rock cliffs and past white sand beaches.  There are great opportunities for seeing wildlife.

Food, Health & Experience

This trip is open to experienced paddlers.  It will be necessary for you to have some paddling experience so that you know you will be able to paddle the duration of the trip.  We will be paddling on one river.  The water level at the time of the trip will be the biggest factor in determining the current. If the water levels are too high due to flooding we will paddle other rivers as day trips.

Prerequisites: We will ask you to complete a food and health form indicating that you are in good physical condition to paddle, have experience in moving water rivers and are able to enter and exit the boat unassisted. This is for the safety of you as an individual as well as the safety of the group..

We look forward to having you join us!  Give us a call with any questions.
