About Our Custom Food Pack
Our Custom Food Pack service is included with both complete outfitting packages or ala cart at $59 per person per day. You will be treated to the best quality food in the canoe tripping business with this food pack.
Food packing is undoubtedly the most time consuming part of preparing for a wilderness trip. We pack the food by the meal with complete instructions in a water tight Portage Pack. We provide fresh eggs, lean Canadian bacon, whole grain organic breads and pancake mix, peanuts only peanut butter, top quality meats, cheeses, coffee, and real homemade goodies. In order to minimize weight, we provide a nice selection of dried fruits, nuts and crackers. The freeze dried entrees are either Natural High dinners or Alpine Aire.
These no-cook entrees are identified by "NH" or "AA". Serving size is a generous 11-15 oz per person. They contain no preservatives or artificial flavors.
Special dietary needs are gladly accommodated. Please tell us if you are vegetarian, diabetic, or have food sensitivities, such as chocolate or nuts. If you prefer kosher foods and cookware, please contact us. A separate vegetarian menu is available.

Each meal selection applies to your entire party and will be packed as a unit with easy-to-follow instructions. On extended trips, substitutions will be made for items with questionable keeping qualities. In making your meal selections, please keep the food weight in mind. We have indicated the heavier food (*) and Vegetarian meals as (V).
