Leaving from our Floodwood Outpost allows your family to paddle to numerous islands. During your travels stop and stretch your legs. Share a brief snack. Discover the perfect island to set up your campsite. What a better way to spend family time together, while sitting around a campfire, listening to loon families calling to each other. The reflection of the moon glistening on the water. Your children safely swimming at their own beach or investigating the boundaries of your island retreat.

Too buggy! Birds love bugs. Birding along Floodwood Road is an area offering a multitude of habitats. At the end of the road is Floodwood Mountain, which offers a great view for all ages.

Did you say mountains! We have the trip your teens will love . Our experienced Guides will assist your family with food packing and preparations. The short carry to the Long Pond put in, places your family in serene water passageways. While paddling your Guide will amuse your family with stories of the Adirondacks. Perhaps catch some fish, identify wild life and involve your clan with hands on learning. Teens love to hike Long Pond mountain and explore the top ridge, pond and wild areas. While you enjoy the peace and quiet of your campsite. The family will build up an appetite for campfire dinners, smores and moonlight vistas. Your loved ones will sleep soundly at your remote outdoor home. Due to our recipe of adirondack fresh air, good food, exercise and guided companionship.
